Ingredients
- ●6 chicken legs
- ●1 teaspoon sea salt
- ●1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- ●1/4 cup vegetable oil
- ●1/2 cup chopped yellow onion
- ●1 clove garlic, finely chopped
- ●2 MAGGI® Chicken Flavor Bouillon Cubes
- ●3 tablespoons tomato puree
- ●2 tomatoes, cut into small cubes
- ●2 cups water
- ●1/2 cup peas
- ●1/2 cup sliced carrot
- ●2 potatoes, cut into medium pieces
- ●1 bay leaf

Make It
Step 1
Season chicken with salt and pepper. Heat oil in a pot; cook chicken until lightly golden brown. Set chicken pieces aside; drain excess oil.
Step 2
In same pot, cook onion and garlic over medium-low heat. Add bouillon, tomato puree and tomatoes. Cook for 5 minutes.
Step 3
Return chicken to the pot; add water and cook for 5 minutes.
Step 4
Add peas, carrots, potatoes and bay leaf. Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes until thickened and potatoes are cooked.
Step 5
Remove bay leaf; serve with rice, if desired.
